Does anyone out there think that the coupler boxes on the new HO scale Climax look a little strange? Every photo I've seen seems to have the coupler box fitted well inside the front end beam, but on Bachmann's model, they seem to be tacked onto the front end beam?!
Is only the lowest position in the coupler box operational?
Is there a shorter shank coupler available that would snuggle up to the coupler box in a more prototypical fashion and still retain its usefulness?
