GP wheel diameters

I'm planning to convert all my diesels' wheels to NWSL 0.088" treads. What's the prototype diameter of GP-30 wheels? The NWSL catalog lists prototype diameters of 40" and 42" for half-axle wheelsets to fit P2K, but isn't specific as to model.

How about wheel diameters of first generation GPs and RS models? TIA.

A quick scan of plans in the MR Cyclopedia Vol 2 shows the EMD GP-7, GP-9, GP-20, GP-30, & SD-7; the ALCo RS-3, RSC-3, RSD-4 & RS-27; and the GE U25B all used 40" wheels, while the Fairbanks Morse H-15-44 & H-16-44; and the Baldwin DRS-4-4-15, AS-16 & AS-616 all used 42" wheels. Geezer

Much obliged. On the road yesterday, and almost bought 42-inchers at my NSLHS after their DCC specialist measured some claimed-to-be GP30 wheels on his workbench using sloppy calipers. My locos will appreciate the correct-size shoes and fresh gear teeth.
