Lime Oven

Guys.....anybody know of any lime oven kits on the market? thanks Gene

Gene, For a more modern lime plant Walthers Valley Cement would be a good starting point. It would have most of the components you need and maybe a few extra. Some lime plants use a rotating shaft to help process material like the Walthers kit has. Older lime kilns, at least most I've seen were rather tall squared off structures mostly made from stone or brick. Those that still survive look somewhat like ancient Mayan ruins or something. These older type kilns could be made with wood blocks, plywood or foam covered with commercial sheet plastic stone or brick and a few plastic details. Bruce
