Wow. I had not heard that news. That really makes me sick at my stomach to think of such irreplaceable items being pawed around on by a low-life scuz-ball. Funny, I never feel this way when I hear about the theft of paintings and such, but models, railroads and especially Marklin... that chokes me up a bit. My first hope is that they can recover the items intact so they can again be enjoyed by many and not just some rich jerk with loads of illegally obtained rarities on display for his own pleasure. Secondly I hope they catch the buzzard who did the stealing and hang him from a mast by his ummm.... parts.

My therapist says I should feel better now.

It's not some low-life; they just do the dirty work. Believe me, these thieves had a shopping list and took just what was on it.

Likely the very same thieves. Art and collectables are stolen from a shopping list pretty much after the financials and transportation have been finished.

There's always a chance that it was a casual low life, but not very likely.

I've found some pretty good stuff on Ebay. So, I'm not complaining.
