On top of that, I've found Fleischmann's track to be both expensive, and poor in keeping alignment (unless of course, solidly nailed down onto a solid surface) the big 'logjam' switch motors don't really improve looks either, and conductivity through the rail joiners is, errr .. well, isn't at all. (Unless soldered solid)
I'm SO happy I ditched it first chane I got and went for Tomix FineTrack - it's everything a proper sectional track system [I know laying flextrack and wiring switches is, of course the ultimate, sadly I lack the skills!] should be!! And yes, it DOES beat out Kato Unitrack ...
