If you want more detail on the fence technique, see the Dayton N-Track website:
http://home.mindspring.com/~dayton_n-track/index.html
select "Links" from the left hand menu, then "Tips and Tricks", finally "Scratchbuilding Chain Link Fence"

Hi:
Soldering is a learned art in which there are many techniques, tools and materials to achieve the same results. A basic understanding of the process and the means to accomplish the ends is highly desirable to avoid failure. Then a wise choice of method and components can be made for the job at hand..
For more details with methods and extensive discussion of problems and solutions, see first site below in soldering.
Hope this helps.
Thank you,
Budb
