I went ahead and bought a Williams C&O BL-2. $119 for an O scale loco isn't a bad price compared to the $349 list price of the version MTH is coming out with this year.
But you can see where the money is saved. The body is well detailed and looks beautiful, but looking through the windows you don't see an engineer, you see the top of the motor. The horn and bell sounds are acceptable, but nowhere near as full as MTH PS2 can provide.
But loco runs great.
