Work area on wheels ???

I was woundering if anyone had constructed a rolling work area for layout construction?

I want to make something that would hold track laying supplies, scenry materials, a place for a few tools, storage for track and turnouts.

Any idea's? What are you using?

I saw a nice one on sale at Sears and bought it.

I bought a computer table at WalMart for less than $30. Put pegboard on the back. Works great and does have wheels.

Brakes would be a good idea, hate to have the workbench start sliding across the room, when I have a sharp/hot tool in my hand.

Several sizes of locking casters are available at most any full-line hardware/home improvement store.

''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' I have an old metal, rolling AV/projector cart like they used in high school. I don't know the actual names for these things but maybe searching around on some office supply sites would find one or something similar.

The one I have is an old, beat up model I got from my brother. It's fairly heavy steel and has a power strip on it. I've got most of my tools on it. It's perfect.

Happy Holidays!

I tried "AV cart" in the Office Depot site search. It worked. Gave me the further choice of Utility Cart or Audiovisual Equipment Cart.

This is what I was thinking about. A heavy cart with a power strip. I would want the following added:

1 - a tube to hold lengths of flex track 2 - one switched outlet for a soldering iron. 3 - drawers for scenery and track laying supplies. 4 - a place to hold several clamps. 5 - a short back so i can attach those plastic bin holders. 6 - another tube to hold a 4' level. 7 - retractable power cord.
