Completely O/T, RR engined car

Guys,Have a look at this car on eBay. engine plate says it's a RR Griffon engine. The seller says it's a4.2 litre straight 6. I always thought the griffon was a V12 andsuceeded the Merlin in the Spitfire. I wondered if RR used the Griffonname for one of their car engines but the plate clearly states thatit's an aero engine even listing the prop rotation.I'm sure someone can set me straight on this.BTW, the thought of a RR engine in a Toyota chassis almost beggarsbelief.John

Well, it's already topped twice the price it sold for under two months ago and not reached the reserve. One might like to take a closer look at one or two of the bidders had ebay not changed the rules.
