Gear supplier wanted

I am trying to find replacement gear for the Witte Headless which is having a mechanical restoration. I have not been able to find one off the shelf, bespoke made was in excess of £100. Anybody know if there are any suppliers. Details of the gear are 3" Diametric Pitch x 7DP x 3/4" wide Steel. For photo see link.

Currently the engine has had a new valve stem on the exhaust valve, new valve guide in the carb for the inlet valve and new inlet valve, New cam follower and a few other bits. A fuel tank and 9" Cast Iron Ball exhaust have been scourced from Hiit n Miss in the USA. Plans are to have her out at the rallies next year.

The link doesn't work for me. I think it should have something other than dots between the two number 8s.

The size you quote is confusing. Is it 3DP or 7DP? How many teeth?

Anyway, if you can supply a blank for it, there's details here

of Shaw Gears who sound as if they will cut it for you at a reasonable price. No connection, just happened to stumble on the webpage yesterday.

The gear is 3" pitch cirle (3.28" O/D) x 7DP.

I am in the process of getting a milling machine so will have a go at making one, it was just easier if there was one more or less off the shelf.

Got a milling machine, dividing head etc. so had a go at making the gear. Great satisfaction when it all works. Photo of the old and new in the usual place.
