Wouldn't be so bad if the colour was correct and the throttle spring wasn't stretched...

£125 or so at best.

It is a dustbin but I meant the fuel tank :-) ttfn Roland

Homemade exhaust silencer, and the pressed carb needle top shows it's probably a fifties one...

I'm beginning to feel guilty now - just thought the 'buy it now' price was a bit silly, didn't mean to start a full scale engine assassination! Hope the vendor is not one of our lurkers.

........ and he'd polished the flywheel rim, which was obviously rusty...................

It's got to be worth the money for the trolley alone :-)

With a free service thrown in! I'm going to step back from this one to give you other chaps a chance.

Come on chaps lets be magnanimous. Ignore the shortened throttle spring hook, the awful red paint, the execrable trolley, the PT-E tape, the PVC plug lead, and the backwards pulley; and focus on the shiny demountable 8COM with correct brass nut :-) ttfn Roland

- oh, I do hope the vendor lurks here! If he does, he'd know very well that he'd be lucky to get £80-£100 for the engine. I have a similar device on an original Lister trolley and never had a single call at that price.

So, I hope he is learning and digesting ................
