OT - Your opinion is sought ;o))

Dear fellow engine men,

I know it's not on topic, but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision.

I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs... phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently and when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know them."

I stay awake to look out for her taxi, but she always walks down the road from the corner. Then I hear a car driving off - its as if she deliberately got out of the car away from the house. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi?

I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her?

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and so I decided to be in a position to see her as she got out of the car.

To do this, I towed my trailer-mounted Ruston Hornsby 7IP and dynamo out into the drive, put a ground sheet down under it & got into a sleeping bag to await her return. Thus, I was able to inspect the engine at close range & was concerned to see that the trailer is not supporting the base correctly - should I try shimming it myself or should I seek specialist help?

Thanks,

Kim

Get a second opinion and some help but forget the other job with the taxi, you may be able to free up space to keep spares dry and warm under the bed, you never know your luck! ;-)

Makes you wonder just how much autodialers do cause suspicion in marriage.......or perhaps they aren't really trying to sell anything, but it is just a network of gigolos creating a smoke screen :)

As for the trailier, just ask your wife to get underneath and check it for you....make sure ist is properly jacked up first....you know, nice and shakey.

Oh, and don't forget to increase her life insurance first. Then you can buy yourself a brand new trailer :)
