SE magazine.

Anyone have any observations on Mr Wright's bold venture in making the SE mag bigger???

Welcome back Charles!

Given that the extra pages appear to be free (the economics of printing are clearly very strange), it can only be a good thing.

From personal experience producing club magazines, etc, I reasonably understand the logistics - be prepared for a greater percentage of advertising, I reckon he will be lucky to get a regular flow of suitably interesting articles. Peter Chadbund The Douglas Stationary Engine Resource

There is no change in the Subscribers price this year. There's not many of them in the office & it would be too difficult to manage both the increase in pages, advertising and a subs increase. Cover price will rise though & probably subs price next year. Just MHO, you understand .........

Perhaps Our Gordon has a backlog of stuff to go in, otherwise I predict a low keening noise in the Cudham Tithe Barn in the new year ;o))

Good man! Though it as directed at myself rather than you - Evinrude pumper non-restoration and a shorty on Marconi related engines in preparation,
