Ruston PT - is that the little vertical with the funny shaped hopper? There was one at sodbury with a price tag of over £700!

The one at Sod was the much rarer "carrot-hopper" but still well-overpriced IMO. ttfn Roland

Ah, the one at Sodbury was the so called 'carrot hopper' model, rather rare and desirable. It was also on its baseplate and complete with vacuum pump, a very nice piece of equipment. I'm not entirely sure if it was =A3700 nice though :-)

I'm entirely sure it wasn't, carrot top or not!

Yes Charles it was at Kirkbride and I did get a good soaking !! Still not a bad day though, some decent prices. The Ruston that I bought was the standard vertical PT, not the carrot hopper, and it certainly wasn`t £700 !!! As I said earlier, if anyone knows the whereabouts of a carburettor or the piece for the air intake, let me know please.
