Hi Rob Try this link
Anyone got a good suggestion where I can look at and buy on line these model cars? Any other 4mm models I can know about? Ta all Rob
Nigel at MSIM is one of the "good guys"! Catch them at Stafford Ex in early Feb. Some of his stuff can be found on our club layout "Blackmill" - also at Stafford!
Cheers, Mick
Cararama are not 4mm models, they are 1:72 which is significantly larger, enough to look wrong, IMHO when close to a 4mm train. Keith
Also keep looking in your local poundshop, I keep seeing them in mine.
JB models (plastic military kits) do a landrover, soft top and hard top types. Well its a start.

Good advice. - I saw some in the Preston branch of "Home Bargains" just after Christmas...
That said, MSIM are a joy to deal with and the price of the Cararama sets are such that it's probably not worth shopping around.

Well, 5.555...% bigger. Many modellers would rather have that than nothing at all; it's a lot closer than 1:87. Early Matchbox cars were of varying scales; Dublo Dinkys were supposed to be 1:76. EFE has a set of 4 sports cars in 1:76, and there are various white metal kits of cars and trucks.
Still, it's a shame there aren't more diecast or even plastic 1:76 cars, like the European (and even American) 1:87 ranges.
Corgi/Lledo Trackside are releasing a Morris LD van

They will also be producing two Austin/Morris J2s and two Bedford CAs, one in "Evening News" livery, which is a virtual clone of the original Matchbox no. 42. No private cars, though.
Corgi Trackside OO scale white Mk 1 Transit van has just appeared. Limited edition of just under 5000 apparently.
Hattons have them for four quid, I picked up a pair at the Bognor exhibition on Saturday for 2.95.
They are lovely and being plain white are just crying out for some signwriting and weathering!
