Why else would Bachmann announce a peppercorn A2 in the middle of July for release in 2009 ? :-)

Especially as it usually takes them at least 18 months to bring things to the market.

What, they've got it down to 18 months?? Wow! lol. Badger.

Could it be to make it interesting for the people who attended their Trade Open Days last weekend? Lots of other new items announced at the same time, including some superb-looking 'Scenecraft' buildings designed for the diesel modeller.

John.

Bachmann is now selling a range of Base Toys 1:76 cars and trucks under its Scenecraft brand, in fact I've got a couple of them on my desk right now. The cars come in different colours than the Base Toys ones, and oddly they are £1 cheaper, from Hattons anyway.

I wonder if Hornby will continue to sell Oxford Diecast vehicles under its Skaledale name now that they have acquired the Corgi Trackside range? Incidentally, every Skaledale vehicle has ASD in the registration number.

Want to buy a bridge ? :-)

Cheers, Simon
