I noticed yesterday a "M&S" train set, kind of an updated version of the first Rovex. The carriages seem a little bit longer than the original.

Yes it is a Royal Train set containing LMS 6201 Princess Elizabeth, a Mk2 brake coach and 2 Mk3 (correct length) coaches all in the Royal Train livery. As mentioned on the excellent 'Model Railway Express Mag' website
