25th Anniversary Open DayThe exhibition will be open from 11.30am until 5.00pm. Admission £1.50, children and OAPs 75p.
All four of the club's fixed layouts will be on show and fully working. This is the one chance in the year to see them all alive and working. There will be seven other layouts from N-gauge to O-gauge, including five personal layouts of club members. The test track will be available again this year, and we intend to show more members layouts, including the award winning Devil's Creek, Brian Scoulding's latest Canadian diorama - Walker's Ridge and Cwmderi, which didn't make it to the Penarth show at the last minute. Helstow, built many years ago by Brian S., is scheduled to make a re-appearance.
The event will be supported by local traders and preservation groups. The club's special edition Dapol wagons will also be on sale. Refreshments will be available. The exhibition will be held on the first and second floors of the Con. Club, which has no lift access. This may cause a problem for some members of the public.
