Setrack comparison - current prices

I should imagine that the only people who buy Hornby track over Peco's equivalent, irrespective of the price, are those who don't know about Peco track or don't realise that it's compatible with Hornby's. I'd still choose Peco Setrack even if it was more expensive.

All my points are peco, but wherever have setrack then its hornby and havent had any problem.

None whatsoever. Plus nearly all flexitrack is Hornby, as have said before find it difficult to flex Peco flexitrack.

Not the case here in Canada! Hornby track is hard to find, as there's no official importer, although there is a shop a few miles away that sells Hornby. But I do now pefer Atlas flex track over Peco; apart from being cheaper over here it has a continuous web on one side, so you can maintain an even sleeper spacing on curves without difficulty.

Yes indeed, but only a small layout. I don't do sharp curves because they never 'look right' hence my layout is just branch-line terminus to fiddle yard. More interesting operationally though that typical train set continuous run operation.

I'd still use Peco flexi-track for tighter curves though.
