.035 solid wire in the lincoln 135 MIG?

can anybody tell me if it is doable , .035 solid wire in the lincoln 135 MIG? using shielding gas. the machine instruction states to use .030 max, but the liner is sized .035 for flux wire. technically doable , but should it be ??

I would stick to 0.024" wire in a 110 volt MIG. It gives the best results.
