Very short.
252 is the real deal, can do 1/2 inch. Still easy to roll around and single phase. i
I assume Millermatic 212 and Millermatic 252.
The 212 is heavy hobby, light commercial.
The 252 is medium commercial.
The 212 has a very light duty spoolgun option for aluminum.
The 252 has the best commercial spoolgun on the market, the Miller 30A.
The 252 can also be fitted with an MK Python gun for push-pull wire feed, for more serious aluminum work.
The 212 can be run from a 30 amp 220 volt dryer circuit. The 252 requires a 60 amp 220 volt circuit.
Also, I'm very happy with the Tregaskis 400 Toughgun you recommended I get for my 251 (same guts at the 252).
Miller's parent company, ITW, bought Tregaskis a few years back but so far hasn't screwed with them. You can now order Millermatics with Tregaskis guns from the factory.
