I hope I did not offend anyone, especially experienced and careful welders. My point was just to say that many trailers are probably welded by not very experienced production line welders. Most new welders, especially the ones that take the time to frequent a website devoted to welding, are probably very conscientious about safety and weld quality.

I take it seriously enough to devote alot of time to learning as most people do here. I think the concern is valid, however, if we are killed or injured on the highway, the chances are that it will be by something other than a newby's trailer.

i have had many discussions with hardcore icon. i respond to his messages quoting him and he resonds to mine doing the same. of COURSE they come back in the same article during a search. look at the headers of the posted messages steve. im giving you the power of final resolve and in your bitterness you totally fail to see whats so blatently right in front of your face.

its to bad that steve doesnt get his facts straight first, and even worse that you let it affect the validity of your advice here. youre holding me responsible for the actions of another and in blind hatred you dont even recognize your own level of ignorance. i have never spoken poorly of any serviceman, dead or alive steve. my problems have never been with servicemen (was one myself). no, i dont think we had any business in viet nam. no, i dont think a government has the right to snatch our children from their homes and ship them off 10,000 miles to die in a war thats not even our own. thats not a problem with the serviceman steve, as every man that was there (you included) should be honored. my problem is with the government steve.....the government that put you (and others) in harms way. my dad was a retired air force pilot and viet nam veteran. before graham rudman killed the funding, my dad was a viet nam veterans counsellor at the local veterans center. i spent a lot of time with him at the vet center and came to know many of the veterans quite well. i dont know exactly what torments you steve, but i do know that help is available and i can only hope that youll seek it. hate in your heart will eventually consume you (if it hasnt already). best of luck steve.

there are all types on the internet steve, and i _try_ to get along with everyone. that doesnt mean i agree or disagree with them, just that i try to get along.

you didnt seem to require any defending, as you were doing a fine job of it on your own. i dont like to enter into flame wars, and hate being drug into them.
