Get a heavy cotton shirt so arc light never touches your skin. You might even want sew a 4 inch wide 'bib' of light leather to stop arc light getting in under the mask. Use a window fan to provide lots of fresh air. Get old bed frames for cheap angle iron. You never have too many clamps. Get a soap stone pen. Get a 4 inch hand grinder - it does everything!
