"HELP" -- Everett. Washington !!!!!!

Jan 28, 2004 5 Replies

Hi, Group!!! I have followed this newsgroup for 5+ years. Six years ago, I went self-employed. I have gained a lot of knowledge out of this group, and I continue to seek improvement in all areas of my business. Therefore, at this point, I am looking for a qualified fitter/welder in the Everett area willing to develop his own business and subcontract with me. The ideal person who would fit into my company requirements would have knowledge in marine fabricating. This involves SHIPWRIGHT WORK custom fabrication related to Maritime needs! Currently, my business is working on commercial boats, as well as yachts.

A few people who have assisted me in my endeavors who I would like to acknowledge from this group are Ernie and Mike Graham, Steamboat, and many, many others.

I have never been balls-deep in work like I am now. I have never had the need to seek help in the month of January.

Sure sounds like a great opportunity. I am above the 49th so I am out of the picture. :')) Locally it seems with so many retiring, there is a severe shortage of Journeyman Fabricators. We need more people to enter the trade and get their hands dirty. Randy

He asked for experienced people. Hard to get experience without someone hiring you in the first place to get that experience. The old catch 22. I would love to learn/enter a new career path.

I would be more than happy to subcontract for you. As long as I don't have to commute from Renton to Everret. Email me drawings and I can ship the stuff up to you.
