I seem to be finding some strange old welders lately. Ran across a Miller Welding SE250 DC welder today. Hard to read the tag but looks like 250 amps at 1600 rpm, DC with slip rings. Round generator section about 15" in diameter by 28" long, big box sitting on top with the controls. Usual voltage and amerage controls with big pointer knobs. Judging by the controls, I'd say it was vintage 40's or so. Weight unkown but figure 300 to 400 pounds according to the owner. Any info on the beast?
