I have a set of Smith's 1700 series regulators and an AW1 handset. I haven't put many hours on them, probably not even consuming 1 set of
80 CF bottles a year. But I've had them for about 22 years.
Everything's working fine, but I wondering if I should have the regs rebuilt?
Should I replace the O rings on the tips after a certain interval regardledd of use? Are these just hardware store items or special Hi-Temp?
Anything in the torch handle that needs routine replacement?
