Small welding tanks, almost full $90

I'm moving and the movers won't take these. They are about 18" tall. I believe the Acetelyn tank is called a B and the oxygen is 40 cubic feet. The the pair would cost about $200 at Central Welding. They are nearly full.

Located about a mile from I-5 in north King County. Email snipped-for-privacy@comcast.net

Must be in the UK...

nope....in the UK we call 'movers' 'removal men' & our highways are called motorways & they are therefore designated M5 not I-5 & Acetelyn is spelled Acetylene & our currency is the pound not the dollar & north King County is far too an interesting name for a UK county

someone should be happy w/this deal. too bad the guy doesn't just set them in a bedroom and see if the driver will pick them up. i moved

150cuft oxygen and matching acetelyne 2x, from Ca. to NM, & NM to Tejas.

the local agent will tell you all of the stuff you cannot take and much of it you would not want to, but the drivers (used) take almost anything, especially the heavy items. they all knew about tanks, at least up 'till

1979, but you did need the caps. maybe the small tanks might not be acceptable w/o caps. anyhoo, just mhe(xperience), --Loren

I seem to remember something about 'Kilometers' from when I lived in that area of the world too, instead of 'miles'..... ;-)

That translates to an awful damn long mile... ;-)

I'm more fond of 'metrification'.....it's soo much easier to convert!

You're 17.46063 inches off. How about 1.609344 Kilometers instead.

Is that fluid ounces, or dry ounces, or troy ounces?

The small tanks not only don't need caps but there are none available. Since this the original poster doesn't know what area he lives in, I'll offer the same deal. A pair of small oxy-acetylene tanks for $90. The acetylene tank is designated MC but I am not sure what the matching O2 tank is numbered. These retail for about $160./pair. I can not ship them so you will have to pick them up in Costa Mesa, CA USA
