what is the best way to weld on restaurant equipment tig or mig and what do i use such as gas or rods

TIG, and Argon. But if you need to ask, you should probably go and get some serious TIG training, because the thin materials and precision required needs a very high skill level.

definitely tig and argon. the type of ss filler rod chosen will be determined by material being joined and any food codes that may apply...
