T.I.G. Question

Oct 16, 2004 1 Replies

Hello, my question is, can I use the same gas to t.i.g. weld s.s and aluminum(not to each other) or do I have to change bottles each time, and what type of gas is recommended?..........Thank you Ed

Argon works for all metals. Helium added to Argon increases the heat and makes dirty aluminum, heavy aluminum and copper easier to TIG weld
