Actually since Chevron and Texaco are together now, work is quite slow. Not a lot of activity at the Kern River field. I mainly work in Plants but sometimes get farmed out to the steam group as needed.

How about you? Staying out of trouble? Fat chance, eh?

According to my friends and neighbors, it appears to be picking up on the West Side. Lots of rigs running at the moment around me in Taft.

Even some drilling rigs.

We had a big spurt the first 3 months of the year then a break in the action. I've got a job we're going to start next week, weather permiting. Right now I'm trying to get a welding bed built.
