Here's my toy tank robot with Sinclair ZX-81 onboard computer.
I see a job with the Ministry of Defense in your future. Or a =
*relationship* with them, at the very least! ;-)Why all the links at the bottom of your original post ?
Because he's a spammer.
I disagree. I found the links concerning his zx-81 on a toy tank mod very interesting and informative
Check his blog (one of his links) - he specifically talks about how he's spamming newsgroups with links to get his website indexed by Google.

Yep - I suspected that was his intention when I asked the question. At = first I had mixed feelings about it - getting the rank you want in = Google and other SE is a black art, for sure. Notice that I said *HAD* = mixed feelings ... that was until I read this excerpt taken straight = from his blog:
"Tonight we're going to spam the sitemap to as many newsgroup = postings as I can legitimately come up with. I'll hide the sitemap = portion way down at the bottom of the posting so hopefully no one will = be any the wiser. "
That really stinks! Good catch Michael. You nailed him.

He is not even a competent spammer. In google groups, and probably most other nntp->http gateways, links are displayed with the "rel=nofollow" parameter, which means all the major web search engines will ignore them in ranking calculations. Comment spam is so 2004. If he just wants search engines to *find* the pages, one link to his homepage and links from there to the other pages are sufficient.
