I should asked this before buying (even two ) . Has anyone used this belt gearings for an aircraft like GP Ryan EP or Multiplex skycat ? i have it mount with a 12x8 and a 17T 540 LRP car motor powerd by 7 cells. Every information you have is welkom. from build advice , belt tension, know issues on it etc....

i found the story of chuck gad from 4 mei 1998 posted to this group, 7 years ago. it worked fine but how many flights CHUCK HELOOOOOO

I haven't personally used it, but it is certainly a much used and beloved drive. Simple and cheap.

I know the Modelair tech drives are limited to about 20k shaft RPM or the belts can fly off...so I suggest that is a good practical limit.

I seem to recall some issues with flashing on the pulley needing to be tidied up.
