Hacker A20-20L with X20 ESC

Hello, yesterday I picked up the above motor and ESC. As I look at the instructions manual I do not see any information on how the wires are supposed to be connected toghether. I don't see any markings on the wires and they're all black. Any suggestions from the experienced users out there?

Thanks in advance, Matt

The three fat wires from the controller go to the three wires/terminals on the motor.

If it runs backwards, swap any two.

Two fat wires from the controller go to the battery pack

The servo plug goes into the throttle channel.

Thats it.

Connect up all three to the speed controller regardless of color. If it runs the wrong direction, switch any two leads.

Matt-

I'm assuming you are talking about the three wires to the motor, and not the power leads to the ESC. If that is so, connect them to the motor in any order and run it up. If it turns in the wrong direction, swap any two wires. The normal direction for most props is CCW. You can't do any harm by connecting them wrong other than to have the motor run backwards, so don't let that concern put you off.

Thank you all for the responses. I made the connections and the motor runs fine. Has either one you programmed the X20 controller? I need additional education on some of the programming options such as Timing (automatic, soft & hard), Frequency (8khz, 16khz) & acceleration (fast, delayed). Thanks again, Matt
