I am just completing the electrification of a superb DB Sport & Scale DH60 kit. Instead of .52 4 stroke I am using a Jeti Phasor 30-3 and Modelair Tech belt reduction gear. Model can be seen here:

I have used the recommended method for securing interplane struts. i.e. 4 split pins per strut, 2 top, 2 bottom. Lower one secured permanently, upper one fixed whilst rigging for flight. The two forward and two aft split pins are "skewered" with a glorified safety pin arrangement made from piano wire - must be loads of you out there who know this method.Unfortunately, this arranegment allows the top end of the struts to move on the straight piece of piano wire securing them. OK they don't move much but look wrong when they do. I'm looking for a clever bit of wire bending to produce individual clips which ARE EASY TO RIG. Totally impractical but a tiny key ring would do the job. So would a paper clip but that would look completely out of place.
