Model Stolen at SEFF

Hi everyone, While loading our van with our vendor stuff at the SEFF meet, a little 15" R/C Hydroplane boat was stolen off our table. It is white. It's a one of a kind. It says Micro Bat on it and has our website on it too. If any of you happen to stumble across it, let me know.

Thanks! Jim

As a SEFF Staffer, I hate to see anything like that happen. It's also possible the wind grabbed it the way things were that weekend. I'd suggest you post to the SEFF thread on RCGroups. It's very active and you'll get to a lot more people who were there.

The message from "Jim" contains these words:

I have seen this sort of thing before and it is usually some snotty nosed little urchin who wants the item but cant be bothered to spend the money on it so they steal it, opportunist thieves cost the general public many millions of $$ each year and the vast majority get away with it too and even when you catch them at it you cant lay a finger on them for fear of being busted for assault.

What I cant understand though was how a model of the trans-Atlantic liner 'Laurentic' over 17 feet long was stolen a few years back from a museum in England with nobody who saw it go and it has never turned up for sale or anywhere else, it was in the storage area which was secure and at 17 feet and a ton and a half you would need one big vehicle to shift it but like majik it did a dissapearing act never to be seen again,
