Nah.... I was decided on the OS 91 but now I'm going to investigate a four stroke. Probably a saito of O.S. 91... Decisions.. Shannon

Hi, Thanks for the help. You know I had almost certainly decided on a OS 91FX but now I'm not so sure. I think I may be doing some research into 4 strokes. I really like the idea of swinging a big prop, low noise and perhaps a fuel pump.. Its just the cost that I find prohibitive... But I'd like to keep this model for a long time so maybe Its time to suck it in and invest a little. I wonder if it is necessary to put a BIG 110 to 120 4 stroke in the nose of the extra?? Surely a .91 4 stroke would haul it around Okay? I don't wish to Hover or Harrier the thing, more scale like aerobatics for me..... I have a dazzler for that. I previously had a 40 size extra (until it clapped hands... my fault) and a

46fx hauled it around wonderfully. Mmmmm More food for thought! Regards Shannon

The Fx91 engine is "light" as it's a bored out FX60 engine. The YS110 is lighter than its predecessor, YS90, but it certainly weighs more than the OS FX91 engine. But given the that fact you have a fuel pump on the YS engine, you could mount the fuel tank further aft. In fact some people mount the fuel tank right on CG with their YS engines.

You will not be disappointed with a Saito. However, I would opt for the Saito 100 if you are worried about enough power. The 91 should be adequate, but the 100 is a nice engine. Throw another choice into the mix!!
