OT: Electronic voting? Who gains?

Actually you have it precisely backwards 100%. Democrats favor extremely lax voting rules so that any boob who walks off the street can cast a volid vote, regardless of whether or not they can follow instructions, fill out the ballot properly, sign it, or show up in the right place. They favor this because in an overwheming preponderance of cases where a voter is too stupid or lazy to figure out his responsibilities, he/she is trying to vote for the democratic candidate. Period.

This directly correlates to e-voting in that a touch screen takes a few brain cells to wrap yourself around the concept. Menus, windows....that's WAY too much to ask.

Really? How did you come across this "historic fact?" I thought the ballots were anonymous, and if multiple chads were punched, there's no way to tell which candidate the voter was voting for.
