OT: Top Posting

ROFLOL!

Folks that go around casting aspersions on others posting style (top or bottom) clearly do so to help their poor self esteem. By making an issue of it, they can feel that they are better than someone. Oh well...

I totally agree! It shouldn't even be an issue! all this top and bottom talk sounds a bit 'gay' to me anyway! Hahah.

I get a kick out of those things! I'm glad I have a life. mk(top poster/bottom poster)

The great advantage of top posting is that you can junk the message without having to read what it was all about first. See? That was MUCH easier wasn't it.

Sure, it is easy, when the post (or call it a response) is unimportant, and not responding to individual points in the previous post.

I should have included some smile's or something in the previous post.

Although I believe that top posting is not the right way to do it, I don't get bent out of shape at anyone for doing it that way.

So, really, I was just joking with my previous post. Sorry, if you think I was out of line, calling your post unimportant. ;-)

Well that's top posters for you innit?

If they want to be ignored, thats the way to do it.

The whole point is that it was.

I look at it this way. No one is forced to read Usenet. No one is forced to top post. No one is forced to bottom post. If peolpe choose to top post, they run teh risk of being ignored If people bottom post and don't snip, they run the risk of being ignored. If people bottom post and snip too much, they run the risk of being taken out of context and flamed.

Its a hard dangerous world, is Usenet. In a modern liberal socialist world, it probably should be banned. In an authoritarian fascist Republican world, it probably should be banned as it can't be enforced.

Never mind,. Its dying from lack of interest anyway.

Like the pub, its there if you haven;t got anything better to do, but its no great shakes, nohow.

We really should stop teasing him. What if it's like the tiger at the zoo and we get eaten?

The sour and bitter taste would be enough to halt that mid chomp.

I don't ignore anyone in particular. I just note that others do.

I see the Shrub has finally managed, as I predicted, to ruin America...how many countries has he ruined to date? Iraq, Afghanistan, USA..how many companies did he run into bankruptcy..three wasn't it?

Hey not bad for a drunken wastrel son of an ex president. That's what I call a legacy!

Whatever happened to 'three strikes and you're OUT?"
