Pilots on the cheap.

Remember those little footballer figures made by a firm called Corinthian(?) that had a big head and ant sized bodies the kids used to collect? if you can get some chop off the arms and legs and stick the body into a hole in a lump of foam then carve to shape, the heads are very well detailed and are 1/10th or 1/12th scale depending on which size you obtain. If weight is a problem make your pilot then take a Latex mold from it then fill the mold half full of resin and push in a foam core to push out the resin and once the resin has hardened disolve the foam to leave the resin shell, spray with white primer and hand paint to finish
