Best way to prime over grey putty seams on figures ??

working on a bunch of 1/6 white/tan resin nude figures. ran out of white putty and had to go with the grey. Need a way to prime/cover the seams along the legs, arms, etc. The finish will be flesh tones so no other darker color will go over the seam. Will be using brush paints and rattle cans....

thx - Craig

I'd use either Testor's flat camoflague grey or primer white, either done in maybe several light coats.

While I have not done a resin figure yet, I assume it would not be much different than resin cars or planes. I wash all resin before using it, even though some mfgs say they do not use problematic mold releases. Then I usually apply prime before any putties. I prime with Krylon primer.

For putty I use automobile glazing putty (used to be called "spot" putty). Yeah, it does shrink a little, so I either keep it humped up above the surface, or use two coats (it dries very rapidly). You get much more putty per buck than in stuff sold in hobby shops.
