Pushrod support

I'm completing a Sukhoi 31 ARF and didn't like the dowel type pushrodssupplied for use with the rudder and elevator(they were too large andrubbed inside the fuse) so I bought a set of Sullivan "Gold-n-rod" touse.How important is it to anchor the outer sleeve at points between theservo and the control horn? Anchoring a few inches behind the servosis easy as the former is exposed and a brace can be glued in place.It's also easy to attach the sleeve where it exits the fuse.There is, however, approximately 16" of unsupported space between thosetwo anchor points that I can't reach unless I cut and remove some ofthe Oracoat covering for access and I'm reluctant to do that.So here's my question -- is 16" of unsupported length too much or willthe control rods work OK without excessive flexing.Thanks, Bill

What good ideas!

I intend to cross the sleeves as suggested by Red, but didn't think of tying them together. That should be easily done with a small "O" ring pushed/pulled into position where they cross.
