i would not recommend and speed control not designed for lithium. the low voltage cutoff for a normal ESC will allow a li-ion or li-poly pack to discharge to dangerous levels. The pack will be ruined if you ever fly to ESC cutoff.
Is there anyone out there using a GP C-10 ESC with 3 lithium cells? I know
