Bought mine when they first came out, what was that, 1998 ? Flew it on a .46. Didn't do any scale mods to it, but did put on floats for a while the 2nd summer I had it. The only trouble I had was the nuts on the landing gear pulled thru the bottom of the fuse due to a rough field (whole assembly came out, gear, bolts/nuts, etc. left 2 holes in the fuse) so I added a fender washer on the inside to spread the load there.



This year it needed recovering so I clipped the wings while it was stripped, and went to a .61 for power.



Nice plane for relaxing flying. Real floater on landing, I actually like it better clipped.

Anyone ever built and flown the 80 inch Cub? ARF.
