watch this *"HOW TO" * video and make a test yourself on the TX... They say if it passes the test... you do not have to send it...

Well, that explains why I had to return my brand new DX6i yesterday. Almost no elevator response was noticed while bench testing after binding the rx.

I particularly like the fake links (target="_blank") in the article. "Click [here] to request a shipping call tag to return your DX6i to Horizon". How many times does one need to click to finally get the tag? :)

Hi there.

I actually called Horizon Hobby yesterday. They told me that the other models which were added to the recall list this week still need to be sent in because the monitor test doesn't guarantee the radio is free from defects. Apparently they are still finding problems despite what the tests show. I was also told that because I live in Canada, they can't pay for shipping from my address to theirs, but that they might find a way to reimburse us Canadian owners for the shipping costs. Go figure....
