Hi all
I have a drawing ( different closed shape) in autocad 2004 and want to know if there's a way or a command to ckeck the shape for any open contour ??

If the contours are ALL polylines, you can select them and look the closed setting in the properties window. If they're all closed, it will say "Yes".......if it varies, it will be empty.
If they aren't poly lines it's easy to convert, use PEDIT. Also check the BOUNDARY comand.
