Re: different line weights in different layouts

you need to use a different pen able for the different layout that instructs the plotter to plot the alternative thickness.

if you xref this drawing into another drawing, you can attach it 2x and then accomplish what you're looking for (be sure to give them 2 different names so you can tell them apart in the layer dialogue box)
