looking to start

hey i was wondering what are the good ways to start on blacksmithing i am new to all this but the idea has always been. what would be a good way to start into something like this i have a couple thing that i have read but people are usually the best means of starting something like this. wayne

What worked for me was going on a weekend course. Once you've had a couple of days with your hands on the metal you'll have a good idea of what you want to do & what you need to do it.
