American Machinist is a worthless advertising rag. You apparently don't seem to understand this. This is an article that contains honest commentary about just some of the many limitations of HSMWorks from Anthony Graves who works for HSMWorks and who is a class act.

There is a lot more to a CADCAM system than toolpaths. See the Jon Banquer blog for commentary and links on what's really needed in a CADCAM system.

Jon thinks the Google "Star Rating" system is very, very important. You have to be posting or viewing this group through Google to even know what it is. This is the reason why Jon has so many user names (and frequently posts with the wrong one on accident). A person can't rate their own posts. So, if you're insane, you create multiple usernames, so that you can log out of your normal name, log into an alias, and then go through to give all of your own posts 5 stars. In Jon's case, he often comes across stuff that instantly enrages him so greatly, he forgets to switch back to his normal username, and gets caught with yet another alias. Between usenet, Practicalmachinist.com, emastercam.com, cnczone.com, and a variety of others, he's had well over 50 different names.

You can tell when Jon has viewed a post that directly calls him out, or asks him a specific question that he can't answer.....because all of the posts by people he doesn't like will have 1 star, and his own post will have 5 stars. He's quite the lunatic.

Jon, why are you so afraid to back up your outrageous, uninformed opinions, or even answer simple questions?
