Circuit for DC motor switching, reversing...

Does any one can point me to a circuit or ready made product, to reverse a DC or AC motor with limit switches? I'm building a device, where the motor would go into reverse by hitting a limit switch, so it would go back and fort between limit switches. Julius

I just finished a project for a customer that is exactly what you want.

However, it uses a Idec plc with a bodine 115 vac motor (6 lead motor) very small like a 1/5 hp.

The print is a ladder diagram for the logic , but is easy to undertsnad if you want it I can make it up in a pdf for you and email it.

Also, found at my company a few Motomatic II servo controllers (3) laying around, that can be set-up for limit switches. Building a polishing machine, all I need is a drive going back and fort, using limit switches for reversing. JS

You could buy the idec starter kit ( about 200 bucks) plug my program in and be done............anyway Im on the road so will put it together for you in the morning and send it
