I recently got a KMB1 for the home shop. It seems that someone changed out the Bx MPU board, Servo control board, the interface board, and the encoders for earlier "B" type boards. Probably had one or more failed boards, a doner "B" machine, and didn't want to pay for a new/repaired Bx board. Anyhow, the correct boards are available new or refurb. but are a bit pricy. Anyone have a dead Bx machine, good board(s) or 1000 line encoders laying around? The machine currently works fine, but without the later Bx boards I can't download G code to it. Short of doing a total retrofit, it seems perhaps the best bang for the buck would be for me to find a used Bx servo control board and encoders, and purchase a new MPU board from AMTS. Ideas?
